Qualifications: BE (Mechanical), MIPENZ , CPEng, PGDipBusAdmin
Chris graduated from Auckland University’s engineering school in 1997 with a mechanical engineering degree. He spent several years in Tokoroa working as a project engineer at Carter Holt Harvey’s Kinleith Pulp and Paper Mill. Upon completion, he moved back to Auckland to work on the $400m redevelopment of the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant, further developing his skills as a project engineer.
Chris joined the team at Pacific in 2002 as the building services engineer on the Starship Hospital upgrade. In 2006 he was made Principal of Pacific Consultants and has became the driving force in developing the commissioning management section of the business.
Chris is a talented commissioning manager who has lead teams on many of the country’s largest Data Centre construction projects, Education, and Hospital projects and has the ability to work with all related parties at the intense commissioning phase to get the best possible outcome.
Chris is involved not only with services co-ordination and commissioning management, but has also performed the role of Building Services Design Manager on main contractor design and build teams. These projects have included; 125 Queen Street, the Next Generation Club – Auckland Domain, and the South Waikato Sports and Events Centre.
