Established in 2006, Pacific Commissioning is New Zealand’s largest and most highly regarded provider of building services coordination and Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) services.


As the demand for high performing buildings has grown, so has the complexity of building services, and the accompanying need to ensure they are installed and commissioned to the highest of standards.


Our non-adversarial, solution-based approach allows us to work closely with all project stakeholders, making us the partner of choice for building owners, project managers, facility managers, design teams and contractors.


We are focused on continual improvement in our service delivery and bring other project stakeholders on the journey to provide better designs, better installations, and better commissioned buildings. 

Our story

As Independent Commissioning Agents, we are independent of construction and design teams and can provide impartial and unbiased commissioning advice aimed at achieving both immediate and ongoing building performance requirements.  While we have extensive building services knowledge and work very closely with design engineers, we are not designers and do not provide design services.


This allows us to focus on what we do best - which is the coordination and commissioning of building services.
