Middlemore Hospital is the major hospital serving the Counties Manukau Health population that provides secondary and tertiary care for various range of Cardiac-related illnesses and Renal Dialysis since 2002.

Over the years the Catheterisation Laboratory and High Dependency Dialysis Units capped its capacity.

These project focuses on an additional Catheterisation Laboratory and additional patient beds in the Renal Dialysis department to accommodate the steady increase of patient that requires Cardiac illness and Renal Dialysis care.
