One of Auckland’s iconic waterfront buildings, the Category Two Historic Barrington Building opened in 1905 as a warehouse to serve Auckland’s increasingly busy port. Transformed into retail and office spaces, this four floor building now serves Auckland’s thriving CBD.

The façade of this majestic building has been maintained, while inside has had a completely new refit. A new steel and glass lift is both functional (the previous lift hadn’t been for some time) and provides a sculptural element that echoes elements used in the original construction.

A Green Star building, the facilities incorporate more fresh air, with a focus on monitoring power and water usage.
