After completing his engineering degree in India, Sunil complemented his technical knowledge with a Business Diploma in Management at Regent International College.
Working in Pacific Commissioning’s Christchurch office, Sunil and the six-member Southern team are involved in projects from Wellington through to Queenstown and Invercargill.
The ability to work in projects across New Zealand while playing a role in rebuilding Christchurch are strong motivators for Sunil.
A confident project manager, Sunil is adept at managing multiple projects, utilising his blend of strong mechanical skills together with a talent for people coordination across the project, with an enviable ability to alleviate stress levels of his colleagues and clients.
Sunil’s stakeholders never see him without a smile on his face, as he keeps his unwavering focus on achieving the correct result within the deadline.

Pacific Commissioning’s role: Building Services Coordinator
A much-desired community facility, the brand-new Hornby Centre is designed to provide a range of aquatic services. Playing a key role in bringing together modern community and creative facilities in the city, the centre promotes physical activity, learning and a social hub, demonstrating the importance of multi-use community facilities that encourage greater social ties and interaction. Pacific Commissioning has played a key role in working with Christchurch City Council, sub-contractors and design engineers, ensuring that plans are checked and reviewed, through to Quality Assurance at the end of the build. The chance to play a role in Christchurch’s rebuild gives the team working on this project immense pride, providing a legacy for the city, as well as facilities that the team and their families can also enjoy.
